Inhalable Mucociliary-On-Chip System Revealing Pulmonary Clearance Dynamics in Nanodrug Delivery

We are proud to announce that our Breathing Mucociliary-on-a-Chip (BMC) platform, developed in collaboration with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, University of Wollongong, and Taiwan Liposome Company (TLC), has been successfully published in the prestigious journal ACS Nano.

This publication validates the platform as a superior tool for inhalable drug delivery research, addressing key limitations of traditional models like Transwell. By precisely replicating dynamic lung environments, including shear stress and mucociliary clearance, it enables accurate evaluation of drug penetration, retention, and 24-hour sustained drug release, providing insights that conventional models cannot deliver.

Explore our products, Organ-on-Chip and Aeromimic™ ADS-1 system, to advance applications in lung disease modeling and inhalable drug delivery, including nanodrugs, small molecules, and liposomes. This integrated solution provides pharmaceutical companies with a scalable, efficient, and reliable path to accelerate preclinical drug development.
